KATE

Kate Marshall is an emerging designer and maker based in Yorkshire, specialising in both set and costume design.

​​​

with a flair for colour, and a love of the whimsy, Kate thrives when creating playful and dynamic designs that bring a story to life.

​​​

after studying at Leeds college of art for her extended diploma, Kate went on to graduate with her BA in theatre design from UAL: Wimbledon college of art in 2023.

​​​​

following her return to the north, Kate became the '24/'25 Jerwood resident designer for Leeds Playhouse in association with Tutti Frutti Productions.

THROUGHOUT her residency, Kate assisted on various productions including The glass Slippers, Mr snow, and THE Olivier nominated STRATFORD EAST production OF animal farm.

KATE RECENTLY DESIGNED FOR BRAINSTORM AT Leeds Playhouse

AND IS currently working on various projects including

Wendy and Peter pan with York Theatre Royal.
